LA Metro Photo Project

Summer 2026

I’ve begun production on a new photo art project covering all 115 Los Angeles Metro Stations and their nearby landmarks using only my iPhone.

I’m a professional photographer but I’ve picked my phone because it’s good enough for this with specs (17 pro max) but also more covert and less likely to get stolen than my pro gear. I’ve been into “iphoneography” way before I made a living off photos and I love it.

I’ve covered about 90 stations so far over a period of 4 days. I don’t know what I’m doing with the end result (maybe a photo book? gallery? personal satisfaction? ) but it’s a nice creative challenge. Since it recenly expanded, I’m probably the first to document it all?

I’ve seen so many new places I wouldn’t visit before and coincidentally started this during the World Cup finals. Everybody’s attention was turned to the live screen at Union Station. Surreal moment.

Overall hope it spreads accessible awareness of LA Metro as a good travel option in a car-reliant city. This is a sample photos so far (not final edit)
